Wanted! Technical Training Manager – Phoenix, AZ

As the Technical Training Manager, you will be part of our experienced global training and support team. You will use your passion for assisting others to support, train, and educate on Picote products and methods and resolve issues through multiple channels including phone, e-mail, chat, social media etc. This position is responsible for managing and conducting technical training programs, demos, and providing customer support to resellers and end customers in North America. The position reports to the Training and Business Development Senior Manager and directly manages additional technical trainers. This position is part of the global technical team and is responsible for providing training and technical support to Picote resellers and end customers in North America and elsewhere as needed. Training and support will be provided at the Arizona training center as well as at customer locations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Training:

    • Manages, conducts, and evaluates hands-on and virtual training programs to educate resellers and customers on the selection, set-up, use, and maintenance of Picote equipment.
    • Mentors and manages other US technical trainers and support staff and collaborates with the Global Team on subject matter content and training delivery techniques.
    • Collaborates on the creation and updating of training materials including PowerPoint presentations, course agendas and outlines, training guides, and other handouts/materials.
    • Manages US Picote Webinar program including topics, content, and scheduling/calendar.
    • Contacts training clients before each training program to gain any additional insight possible on their current/future equipment, team experience level, and any unique goals.
    • Coordinates with Operations and Logistics Supervisor to maintain inventory levels of training support supplies and materials.
    • Contacts and documents communication with previously trained companies to check on their status and if any additional trainings are needed for new employees or on new Picote products to help drive training goals
    • Manages daily/weekly training area cleaning and organization schedule completion.
    • Works in conjunction with training and marketing team on social media post content including topics such as Tech Tips, new product launches, and service/updates.
    • Ensures technical team creates a steady output of Picote videos for social media postings and the Picote Institute. 
Additional Responsibilities:
    • Provides in-depth technical support to contractors, plumbers, & municipalities.
    • Tradeshow attendance (+3 year) including presentations.
    • Domestic and International travel required.
    • Other duties and projects as needed.

 Preferred Experience:

  • 5+ Years of proven experience as a technical trainer or training manager.
  • 5+ years of jobsite experience in CIPP, drain cleaning, or trenchless industry.
  • Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds.
  • Strong team leadership skills & ability to work in a global team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong working knowledge in MS Office.

 Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Able to perform physically demanding tasks and lift over 50 pounds.
